Another school year is underway in Jeffco! Here are some reminders for families about how to stay in the loop throughout the year:
• Ensure your contact information in
JeffcoConnect is always up to date. New phone number? New email address? Don't forget to include JeffcoConnect in your update procedures.
• Follow the district and your school on social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Social media channels have become the fastest and most efficient
way share information. It is highly recommended families include this as part of a well-rounded communications toolbox. Links to our channels are at the top of this page; click on the logos.
• Download the app for easy access to school and district
webpages, calendars, news, and push notifications. Search in your app store for "
jeffco schools co."
• Be sure you check your email and other communication tools often. Also, be aware, if you elect to unsubscribe from any email sent by anyone in Jeffco Public Schools, you will be unsubscribing from all emails coming from anywhere in our district. We recommend you simply delete any emails you do not want.
• Want to know about things like how we handle alerts and closures, what Jeffco's emergency procedures are, or what's on the lunch menu (to name a few)? Visit the
For Families page on our website, where you will also find links to systems like JeffcoConnect, Nutrislice, and Campus.
• Bookmark your school's webpage and check it often for updates.
• If your student purchases meals at school,
setup an account in
SchoolCafe, which includes the option to turn on low balance alerts to ensure your student always has meal funds available.
