Brad HullBradley (Brad) Hull will be honored at the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) Colorado convention in October as the 2018 Middle School P.E. Teacher of the Year. This award recognizes excellence and outstanding achievement in the field of physical education. Everitt Middle School principal, Jeff Gomez credits Brad as being “relentless in his vision to give students the opportunity to live fit and healthy lifestyles.” In addition to his role as P.E. teacher, Brad promotes a culture of health wellness in his building through his work as healthy schools coordinator, mentor teacher, P.E. cadre leader, Fuel Up to Play 60 advisor and ambassador for heart rate monitor technology. Brad was instrumental in winning the highly competitive National Foundation for the Governors’ Fitness Council “Don’t Quit” grant which awarded Everitt $100,000 worth of fitness equipment for his students and staff.
