West Jefferson Middle School Students Team Up with Weston Snowboards & National Forest Foundation

West Jefferson Middle School computer teacher Jason Wooldridge had his eighth-grade graphic design class team up with Weston Snowboards and the National Forest Foundation. With the guidance of Ginger Up Marketing, students learned about graphic design, marketing, making quality promotions, and how companies work with graphic designers. In this PBL, students were able to participate in real-world applications of design, and step through the process of creating a graphic piece for a marketing campaign. The student artwork will be marketed through the National Forest Foundation and Weston Snowboards in an effort to bring attention to our national forests. One student, Piper's, was selected to be used on the Weston Snowboard T-shirt to benefit the National Forest Foundation. It was a great collaboration, with participation from Ginger Up Marketing, the National Forest Foundation, Weston Snowboards, and more as seen in the video below.
