Over the past two years, Jeffco has convened an Alliance of Jeffco stakeholders to provide critical feedback on the school district’s strategic direction. This Alliance shaped Jeffco Thrives 2025, the district’s strategic plan, and, more recently, its work to reimagine the high school experience.
Now, we are bringing the Alliance back together for a presentation on the State of the District on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

- Jeffco Education Center, 1829 Denver West Dr., Bldg 27, Golden, in the 5th Floor Boardroom
- Light refreshments will be served, and interpretation services are available.

Jeffco Thrives 2025 is a bold vision. It requires both shifting the resources we have as well as generating new revenue and resources to support our mission to provide a world-class education that prepares all Jeffco students for bright and successful futures as local and global citizens. The State of the District presentation will include future opportunities for Jeffco to maximize local revenue to support community-driven interests including:
- Instructional excellence, preschool through graduation, delivered by highly talented and competitively compensated educators, staff, and leaders
- Learning environments that are safe, modern and foster extraordinary student experiences
- Graduates who will enter a complex and changing world, having discovered and explored their passions and potential careers

Following the State of the District event on January 9, we invite stakeholders to join Alliance subcommittees. The committees will dive more deeply into these community-driven interests and help the district identify investments to be funded by a future mill levy override request to Jefferson County voters.
The dates of these meetings are as follows and will take place from 6 p.m.–7:30 p.m. at the Jeffco Education Center:
- Wednesday, January 31
- Wednesday, February 28
- Monday, March 11
- Tuesday, April 9
