The Department of School Safety was recognized at the Hero/First Responder Night at the 2024 National Western Stock Show. Two Jeffco patrol officers, William Bradford and Steven Locke, received the honor in front of thousands of people.
"They are unsung heroes that protect our children every day," said the announcer at the stock show. The video below shows how big of an honor this was for Jeffco's Department of School Safety.
