Fourth Grade Initiative Boosts CMAS Scores

Jeffco Public Schools saw an increase of 4.8% in 4th grade English CMAS scores and a 0.5% increase in math. The percentage of students who met or exceeded standards in fourth grade English (56%) was the highest passing percentage out of any subject at any grade level in the district. Increased score success has been attributed to increased technology in the classroom, teacher-district collaboration on CDE standards, and test prep centered around online testing.
