Support Positions

Bus drivers, food service workers, custodians, paraprofessionals, paraeducators...It takes the whole Jeffco team to provide an excellent education for Jeffco students. Our support staff ensures students arrive at school safely, are fed nutritious meals, and learn in a clean, safe environment. These members of the Jeffco team provide vital support and contribute significantly to the work being done to meet student and employee needs.

Every member of our Jeffco team is valuable for our students' experience. In addition to those mentioned above, Jeffco support positions also include secretaries, clinic aides, campus supervisors, IT support, liaisons, tutors, and more!

Many of these positions are also available on a substitute basis to provide flexible schedules or growth into a part- or full-time position.

More About Para Educators

Love working with children? Our Special Education department assigns para educators to center programs in schools, where they team with certified teachers in the care of special-needs children. Some para educators are designated as “floats,” and move between schools, receiving mileage reimbursements for their travel. You may receive financial incentives for working in a Title I school.
