What is CTE?

Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses provide  preparation for careers and lifelong learning. Jeffco has CTE programs in neighborhood middle and high schools. Jeffco also boasts three Designated Career and Technical Schools (DCTS), Warren Tech Central, Warren Tech South, and Warren Tech North, which offer advanced CTE programming available to Junior and Senior level students. Why CTE?

All CTE programs offer academic, elective, and/or college credit.  Jeffco’s mission is to prepare all students for successful careers through the real-world application of core academic skills by partnering classrooms with businesses, industries, and communities which positively impacts the future workforce.
