Jeffco Public Schools FCB Dashboard
In our strategic plan, Jeffco Thrives 2025, there are references to a data-driven culture, increasing transparency, supporting public understanding of resource allocation and the importance of working in partnership with our community to support student success.
In June 2022, Jeffco published the FCB dashboard at the request of the Board of Education, which included a comprehensive look at district-managed elementary school enrollment and capacity and related causes (enrollment trends over time) and effects (cost per-pupil, staffing etc.). The FCB dashboard – named for policy FCB and containing criteria outlined in FCB-R – served as the foundation for phase one of Regional Opportunities for Thriving Schools and critical conversations with the community about supporting student success in the context of declining enrollment.
From January to April 2023, the FCB dashboard was refreshed to include secondary, charter, option, and AEC schools. It will be both a permanent and ongoing source of data available to the public, and a launching point for important community discussions around thriving schools and supporting student success. Jeffco is committed to updating the dashboard as new information becomes available.
We understand that data on the FCB dashboard does not provide the complete picture of a school. However, it offers important context that can effectively support all of us — families, staff and community – in our work together to ensure that all Jeffco students have extraordinary student experiences that recognize their strengths, challenge them to improve and support them to succeed.
