Jeffco’s Capital Improvement Program Update
Jeffco’s Capital Improvement Program is kicking off 2024 at roughly 96% complete and ahead of schedule.
Thank you again, Jefferson County voters. With your votes to approve the 2018 bond, we’ve been able to make continued building improvements across the district. Since the initial bond approval, Jeffco Builds has been hard at work improving our school environments ensuring every student thrives.
As of January 2024, most of the Jeffco Builds projects are ahead of schedule and on budget. Thanks to our dedicated project teams and smart funding management to support districtwide improvements that benefit our students, staff, and teachers. This means additional classrooms, updated facilities, and enhanced learning environments for our school communities.
In 2024, additional projects include updating athletic field lighting, upgrading welcoming schools throughout the district, and new playgrounds for Edgewater Elementary School and Hutchinson Elementary School.
