During this stressful and uncertain time, it is essential to address and tend to the mental health and wellness of ourselves, our family, and community. Below you will find a variety of resources to support you and your family members.

Navigating Traumatic Events

When an act of violence occurs in our community, we know many struggle to understand it, worry about safety, and can feel overwhelming sadness. We have resources to assist community members with talking to children about violent events.
Our strongest resource is communication, as it is vital to navigating these painful events. Keeping an eye out for each other is the best safety measure for our children, students, staff, and our community. Please take time to connect with loved ones and share openly.

APRIL FOCUS: MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness practices can improve our attention and concentration, and can help relieve stress! They can be implemented into our everyday routines to gain insight into our actions and reactions and can help us stay present in the moment, instead of worrying about the future.
