NEW: Student Ridership System

Jeffco Public Schools implemented the use of a service called ZPass for our bus riders in the 2020-2021 school year. ZPass is a widely used and trusted, innovative student ridership system.

As of September 2020, all transportation-eligible students are required to have their ZPass card at all times to board and then ride the school bus. As students enter and exit the bus, they swipe their card in front of the card reader. The time, date, and location of entry and/or exit are then recorded and transmitted to a secure database accessible only to transportation and school staff.

Students receive their initial ZPass card free of charge. If your student loses their card, they will not be denied transportation to and from school, however they will need to request to obtain a replacement card from their school secretary. There will be a fee for replacement cards of $15 per card.

If you have any questions about the ZPass card or system, please contact your local transportation office.
