The Denver Indian Center, Inc. serves a diverse group of tribes, the majority of which represent the Southwest and the Northern and Southern Plains. Most come seeking economic stability, education and security for their families. The Center continues to be a highly sought after location for the community to gather for powwows and various other activities held at the facility throughout the year.

Denver Indian Family Resource Center

Denver Indian Family Resource Center (DIFRC) was founded in early 2000 as a child welfare agency dedicated to meeting the diverse and emerging needs of Indian children and families in the Denver metropolitan area. Our goal is to assist families to avoid involvement with the child welfare system and to support and advocate for families already involved. We provide a variety of services that build up the strengths of our Indian families and that help children thrive.

The Southern Ute Indian Tribe

The Southern Ute Indian Tribe is located on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation in Southwest Colorado. The reservation land area covers 1,059 square miles in three counties (La Plata, Archuleta, and Montezuma).

Tribal Council headquarters are located in Ignacio, Colorado. Chairman Clement Frost and the Southern Ute Tribal Council invite you to visit the Southern Ute Reservation and learn more about our government, culture and history.

Our office has the unique opportunity to serve as the official liaison between the Southern Ute Indian and Ute Mountain Ute Tribes and the State of Colorado.
